Blog Development
We build blogs based on pre-built "themes" from a company that develops and maintains an extensive library of Word Press Themes. These are high-quality themes that provide a framework for us to customize a blog in a number of different ways to give you a unique presentation of your communications.
All of our themes are built upon the popular Word Press engine, that is actually freely distributed, but it must be installed with a critical link to an existing relational database. We create that database, install the Word Press software, then update the generic Word Press theme with a customized theme that is further refined to your specific needs.
One critical factor in maintaining a blog is to insure that the periodic updates be installed on a timely basis to prevent corruption of the database by outside malcontents. With each update, security issues are corrected, however, this means that previous versions are left exposed and can be corrupted. Updating is not difficult to do, but it must be done with some frequency. If you prefer not to be responsible for this, we offer regular updates for an annual fee.
Basic WordPress Blog
The basic Word Press Blog installation includes creating a database, installing the Word Press basic package to your hosting web server.
This package includes installing your logo and installing some basic add-ons such as an online form. We will then set you up as administrator to the blog. You will then be responsible for all of the content, updates and maintenance.
There is a one-time fee of $199.00 for this installation. You are responsible for your own domain name, email addresses, and hosting.
Advanced Themed
Advanced blog themes give buyers complete freedom in the features that can be installed. Use of the advanced themes does require some training so that posts to your blog or properly placed and show up where you expect them to appear on the blog pages.
Buyers will be able to choose from over 40 Themed Designs that can be implemented and customized to fit your needs.
There is a one-time fee of $499.00 for this installation. You are responsible for your own domain name, email addresses, and hosting.
Blog Integration
Integrating a blog into your web site requires the most customizing all the blog installations.
We will quote this on a per-basis method depending on the degree of integration required.
Prices for this blog integration begin at $599 and up.
